I was considering the sliders that let you slide two or more panels all onto one side stacked, but I don't think we have the width to house 3 panels stacked. At one time EAS was a solid provider of windows and storm protection products. Part of the room will open to an uncovered area of the deck while the rest. Our contractor recommended using sliding patio doors all around the perimeter of the room since they can be pretty cost effective large windows (you can get pella sliders 300/each at Lowes). The final consideration is it needs to have a functional screen (so accordion is out, not to mention too costly). Hi everyone, we're looking to convert part of our old deck to a 3 season room. This creates a seamless flow to the outdoor area. The sliding doors incorporate a multi-stacking track system, which allows the doors to be stacked behind one another. This amazing, solid timber sliding door allows both the bedroom and the bathroom to be opened up to the garden. We'd also love to have three 4' panels (or two 6' panels) instead of four 3' panels in order to have a larger unobstructed view of the outside. So our thought is to convert these guys into a big sliding patio door system. It's a ridiculous system (there's 4 handles, 4 locks, each one swings in independently) and is old, wood, and starting to fall apart. Right now off the side wall in our living room, there's a 12' wide opening out onto a big deck - there's four 3' wide in-swing single doors. We're renovating our mid century modern-ish house.
